Children First is working on the campaign to pass paid family and medical leave in Pennsylvania, and we have an opportunity for small business owners to help make a big impact. 

Fourteen states have passed paid leave — including Pennsylvania’s neighbors in New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland — but PA has yet to act.

Support from the business community will be absolutely critical to getting paid leave over the finish line in PA.  The campaign is launching a sign-on letter for small businesses and startups in PA and we invite you to sign on.

Statewide paid leave will help level the playing field for startups and small businesses that can’t afford to compete with larger employers when it comes to benefits.

Businesses of all types are invited to sign on and show support for paid leave, from sole proprietors/LLCs up to companies with 500 employees. You can learn more and sign on here.
