The impact of a declining workforce is a complex problem.  Many of Pennsylvania’s workers are ill-equipped to fill positions in businesses that rely on an increasingly skilled workforce.  In fact, a majority of Pennsylvania’s employers report having difficulty finding workers who are qualified to fill open jobs.

Clearly a new game plan for the Southeast Region is needed and the game plan is simple, prepare students early and prepare them well.
