Education advocates from various parts of the state gathered in the Main Rotunda of the Capitol this afternoon to speak against the House-approved budget that was recently passed through HB 2328. Donna Cooper, Executive Director of Public Citizens for Children and Youth, expressed outrage that the House passed a budget that cut education spending by two-thirds of what was offered in Gov. Corbett’s initial proposal.
