Dr. William Hite will transition from his role as Superintendent for the School District of Philadelphia next August, and the search is on for his replacement. Stakeholder input is needed to shape the search process.

The Board of Education has rolled out a series of 17 listening sessions – in-person and virtual – in 18 days, for the public to weigh in on what they want to see in the next Superintendent.

Children First is co-hosting four stakeholder sessions: K-12, out-of-school-time providers, Head Start providers, and juvenile justice. Provide input on the skills, talent, and foresight the next superintendent needs to bring to the district. Your feedback will be used to inform the job description for the next superintendent.
